Lancaster County Community Foundation came to Meteor Tower with the goal of raising one million dollars for local non-profits, in one day. Their idea was the Extraordinary Give campaign; A one day event of giving. To promote this event Meteor Tower crafted a commercial that drove at the heart of what contributing to the Extraordinary Give would mean. When you give extra, extraordinary things happen. With this in mind the commercial features donors placing a small amount of money in jar, and when they do, streamers fly all around them, they are photographed by paparazzi, and they are awarded a gift. Multiple donors where filmed to give the feeling that this only works if everyone participates. The commercial helped advertise the Extraordinary Give which ultimately raised over $1.5 Million.
